Lie on a level ground with face up position (with back touching the ground).Keep your legs together with feet touching each other. Keep your arms straight and palms touching the ground. Exhale and slowly raise your legs and try to touch the feet on the ground behind your head. Your arms should always be touching the ground during all this. Continue normal breathing and remain in this position for 2 minutes (till you feel comfortable. Do not over stress.) This pose strengthens the muscles in the abdomen.
Dhanurasana:
A very good pose Dhanurasana strengthens the muscles in the abdomen to treat the irregular menstruation disorder.
Some directions for getting benefits:
Lie with face down position. Relax and slowly inhale. Now, slowly raise your head above the ground. Simultaneously raise your legs and try to hold your ankles. With both feet and head raised above the ground and holding ankles, your body takes the shape on a bow. Hold in this position for about 15 seconds. Continue normal breathing. Exhale and return to normal position.
Repeat this for 5 times. Strengthens the muscles in the pelvic region.
